You can browse and create memes on Flickmeme without an account. Creating an account, saving content, and subscribing to Pro require us to collect some personal information, described below.

• Account information: your name and email address, either provided directly or via Google sign-in
• Content you create: memes, GIFs, captions, and images you generate or upload, and whether you choose to make them public
• Usage data: how many AI generations you’ve used, favorites, and reports you submit
• Billing information: if you subscribe to Pro, our payment provider Paddle processes your payment details directly — we never see or store your card number
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and device information collected automatically for security and analytics purposes

• To operate and maintain your account and the Service
• To process subscription payments and manage billing
• To generate AI captions and images on your behalf
• To send transactional emails, such as password resets
• To detect abuse, enforce our Terms, and review content reports
• To understand aggregate usage patterns and improve the Service

We share information with the following providers strictly to operate the Service:

• Google — authentication (Google sign-in) and Gemini AI for caption/image generation
• Paddle.com — subscription billing; Paddle acts as Merchant of Record and handles your payment details directly
• Cloudflare R2 — storage of the images and GIFs you create or upload
• Resend — delivery of transactional emails
• Vercel — hosting, and privacy-respecting analytics/performance monitoring

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to secure your session. We also use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to understand aggregate traffic and performance; these do not use third-party advertising cookies or track you across other websites.

We retain your account information and content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal or billing-compliance purposes.

We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections and hashed passwords, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. You can update your account details directly in the app, or contact us to make a request.

Flickmeme is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

Our service providers may process and store information outside of your home country. Where this occurs, we rely on our providers’ own safeguards and contractual protections for cross-border data transfers.
